Obituary Online notes for John WHITESELL Sr.
name is on the new stone and there is also an old stone in this cemetery
------------------------
Original Stone says he (John Whitesell Sr) died in the year 1842 and the new tombstone has the date as 1840.

We are going with the Original death year of 1842 because that agrees with the Wilhoite Family history that says he died after his son John Jr.

So John Jr died in 1840 and John Sr died in 1842.
