Anita L. Whitesell

Anita L. Whitesell, 93 of Londonderry, NH, formerly of Elon, NC passed away May 31, 2021 in Londonderry at All American Assisted Living. She had suffered a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. Anita was born January 13, 1928 in Somerville, MA and was a daughter of the late Frank and Isabella (Boyington) Larkin. She was raised and educated inMedford, MAand was a graduate of Medford High School.

Anita was a resident of Elon, North Carolina for 50 years, prior to relocating to NH to be near family. Anita was employed as an assembler and technician with the Bell Telephone Co. in NC, for nearly 30 years, before her retirement. She was a longtime member of St. Mark’s Community Church in Burlington, NC and was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Derry, NH. Anita was very dedicated to her beloved husband Carroll Whitesell, who predeceased her.
Members of the family include her brother, Ralph Larkin, of Derry, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Anita was also predeceased by two brothers, Barry & David Larkin and by her sister-in-law, Margaret Larkin.
There were no services held in NH. Anita’s cremated remains will be interred next to her husband in St. Mark’s Church Cemetery in Burlington.
