Mrs. Beatrice  "Bea" Isley Whitesell 
    BURLINGTON — Mrs. Beatrice  "Bea" Isley Whitesell , 90, formerly of 403 Atwater St., died at 11 a.m. Monday, March 14, 2005, at Alamance Healthcare Center after several years of declining health.
    A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Thurman "Tut" Whitesell , and the daughter of the late Paul Garland Isley  and Birdie Graves Isley . She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Elon.
    Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Betsy W. Johnson and husband, Buck, of Burlington; two grandsons, Mr. Tim Johnson and wife, Tracy, of Burlington and Mr. Rick Johnson of Burlington and fiancée, Christina Kiino, of Pasadena, Calif.; four great-grandchildren, Bradley Johnson and Alex Johnson, both of Burlington and Cortney Johnson and Taylor Johnson, both of Wilmington; and a special niece, Carmolene I. Anderson of Swansboro, N.C.
    She was preceded in death by a brother, Mr. Paul "Polly" Isley .
    The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington by the Rev. Terry Huffines. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
    The family will be at the Rich & Thompson Mortuary in Burlington from 6 to 8 this evening, and at other times will be at the residence of the daughter, Betsy Johnson, 1507 Keogh St., Burlington.
    Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Elon, Building Fund, P.O. Box 923, Elon, N.C. 27244.
