BURLINGTON — Mrs. Willie Christopher Whitesell, 81, formerly of Collins Drive, Burlington, died at Peak Resources of Alamance on Friday, Oct. 26, 2012.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late James F. Whitesell and the daughter of Worth Andrew “Cook” Christopher and Sallie Boggs Christopher, both deceased. She was formerly employed with W.E. Love and Associates for many years. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Elon.
Survivors include two daughters, Jayme W. Bland and husband Ross of New Bern and Victoria W. Price of Burlington; two granddaughters, Heather Mabe and Holland Bland; and two grandsons, Andrew Whitesell and Brandon Little.
A graveside service will be conducted at Pine Hill Cemetery on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012 at 2 p.m.
The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington on Sunday from 1 to 2 p.m. At other times they will be at the residence of a daughter, Victoria W. Price, 202 Joy Drive, Apt. A, Burlington, N.C.
