Joyce Phillips Keck

Mrs. Joyce Phillips Keck, 91, of Burlington passed away at Edgewood Place on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 12:40 a.m.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late John Alexander Keck and the daughter of John Arthur Phillips and Lizzie Sutton Phillips, both deceased. Mrs. Keck retired from Kayser Roth and attended St. Mark’s Church.

Survivors include her nieces and a nephew, Jennie Keck Hallsey, Helen Stith Keck, William Gordon Phillips, Jr. and wife Suzanne Keasler Phillips, Janet Phillips Jones and Ann Phillips Landis.
She was preceded in death by her aunt, Esmer Sutton and brother, William Gordon Phillips, Sr.
The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. by Rev. Ben Bishop with the family receiving friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. prior to the service. They will also receive friends at Joyce’s home following the service.
Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
