MEBANE — Susan Bremer Huey entered her heavenly home on February 17, 2025.
She was born in Washington DC to Hans and Shirley (Gunther) Bremer on October 3rd, 1966.
Susan grew up in Chevy Chase MD, the youngest of four children (John, Jim and Carol), but she always reminded folks about being raised by her maternal grandmother, Mildred Gunther.
Susan moved to North Carolina in 1980 and graduated from Elon University in 1984 with a degree in education.
Choosing North Carolina to make her new home and start her adult life, Susan taught elementary school at South Mebane and South Graham for 30 years, retiring in 2021.
She was a member of Lebanon United Methodist Church in Mebane and was a Sunday School Superintendent and chairman of Family Ministries. 3
