Mrs. Eugenia Wagoner
ELON COLLEGE — Mrs. Eugenia Hilliard Wagoner, 89, of 227 E. Trollinger Ave., died Wednesday morning, Sept. 1, 1999, at her home.
A native of Warren County, she was the wife of the late Mr. Leslie W. Wagoner and the daughter of Mr. H.H. Hilliard and Mrs. Viola Spain Hilliard, both deceased. She was retired from Elon College Middle School and was a member of the Retired State Employees Association. She was a member of Elon College Community Church.
Survivors include five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a son, Mr. Leslie W. Wagoner II; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Stegall; and an infant son, Leslie Ray Wagoner.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Magnolia Cemetery.
The family will be at the cemetery following the service.
Rich and Thompson Mortuary in Burlington is in charge of arrangements.
