Mrs. Frances Lucille Whitesell Whitley died on Monday, December 18, 2017. She was born on September 6, 1929 to Ernest Eldervand and Allie Verona Westbrooks Whitesell. Her beloved husband, Clyde Ross Whitley died on December 30, 1984 after four months of illness. Surviving is her son, Timothy Kipp Whitley and wife Lori Sue Jukes Whitley. Frances has a special family love for nephews, Dewey, Michael, Adrian and Jonathan Whitley and their families. Her desire is that everyone will accept Jesus as his or her personal savior. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, 1:00 pm at Lakeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:30 am till 12:30 pm on Wednesday at Hanes Lineberry N. Elm Chapel. Memorials may be made to the church or charity of one’s choice or to the Children’s Home Society of NC, PO Box 14608, Greensboro, NC 27415.
