Greensboro, NC: Richard Morris Whitesell, 71, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, July 8, 2017.
He was born on September 9, 1945 in Greensboro.
Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Pegram Whitesell and father, Roy Whitesell as well as three sisters and four brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Whitesell; two daughters, Angela Trauschke and Bonnie Martin; two brothers, Ronnie Whitesell and Leroy Whitesell; four grandchildren, Tonya Miles, Crystal Sharpe, Seth Trauschke, and Samuel Trauschke; as well as eight great-grandchildren, Jonathon, Tyler, Trevor, Christopher, Amber, Jacob, Hudson and Mason.
He was a wonderful husband, father, and friend who was love very much.
At his request there will not be a service held.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
