 BURLINGTON — Mrs. Lillie Wagner Allison, 89, died at Liberty Commons on Monday, Nov. 23, 2015, at 12:35 p.m. following several years of failing health.
 
 A native of Valle Crucis, NC, she was the wife of the late Coy Wagner and the daughter of Benjamin Byrd and Rhoda Townsend Byrd, both deceased. She retired from Western Electric and was an excellent cook and baker. Lillie was a member of Lowe Memorial Baptist Church.
 
 Survivors include a daughter, Judy Wagner Madren and husband Fred of Elon and their family, the Rev. Fred Madren Jr. and wife Kathy and their children, Annette Madren and Ted Madren and Nikki Lee and husband Richard and their children, Josh Ross, Brooklyn Ross and Kathryn Ross; daughter, Virginia Wagner Whitt and husband James Powell II of Eden and their family, Tim Lee, Tony Russell Whitt Jr., and Melody Clatterbuck and husband Dru and their son Darion Clatterbuck; two brothers, Clyde Byrd and Howard Byrd; and two sisters, Daisy Gragg and Flo Willard.
 
 She was preceded in death by three brothers, Doc Byrd, Will Byrd and Claude Byrd; and one sister, Rose Crawford.
 
 The funeral service will be conducted in the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Friday, Nov. 27, 2015, at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Fred Madren Jr. with the family receiving friends from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in Alamance Memorial Park.
