Obituary for Loretta Turner Whitesell

Loretta Turner Whitesell of Greensboro, NC, joined the angels and went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday March 5, 2017 at Beacon Place in Greensboro, NC. She was 57 years old. Loretta was an active member at Shady Grove Wesleyan Church in Colfax, NC.
She attended Southeast Guilford High School where she met the love of her life Barry Whitesell. Loretta and Barry had been married for 38 years and together they have 3 children, Audra Whitesell Lenahan, Ashlynn Whitesell Roth and Brannon Whitesell.
Loretta worked as a Senior Loan Processor at W. R. Starkey Mortgage and her passion was making sure she got families into their dream homes. A genuine and radiant soul, Loretta was inspiring and enjoyed making people feel welcomed and loved. She will be greatly missed.
Loretta is survived by her husband Barry Whitesell, parents Oliver Turner and Jeanie Turner, siblings Mike Turner, Barbara Graves and Amy Hardin, her daughter Audra and husband Dennis Lenahan and grandchildren Carter, Hayden and Adalynn, her daughter Ashlynn and husband Tim Roth and grandchild Connor Roth and her son Brannon Whitesell.
Please join our celebration of Loretta’s life during the following services: the visitation will be held Wednesday March 8th from 6-8 pm Forbis and Dick Funeral Service located at 4601 Pleasant Garden Road Pleasant Garden, NC 27313. The funeral services will be held at Shady Grove Wesleyan Church on Thursday March 9th at 2pm located at 119 North Bunker Hill Road Colfax, NC 27235.
