Kenneth Mitchell Whitesell, age 82 of Carthage, NC passed away on June 4, 2020.
A private graveside service will be held with the family.
He was born to parents, Delis H. Whitesell and Irene J Whitesell on May 1, 1938 in Pinehurst, NC.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Fern Bunch; brothers, Vernon, Leonard, David, Mark, Max and Delis Whitesell, Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Deelie Priest Whitesell; daughters, Donna Parsons and husband, Dwight; Rhonda Whitesell and partner, Jerry Christian, Michelle Seawell and husband, Mark, and a son, Kenneth "Mitchell" Whitesell, Jr. and his wife, Linda; grandchildren, Adrian Parsons (Christa) and Logan Parsons (Jenn), Owen and Ben Whitesell, and Riley and Taylor Seawell; great grandchildren, Isabelle and Brinly Parsons; Tucker, Tanner, Mason and Ava Parsons; sisters, Linda Upole and Mary Mills; and brother, Fred Whitesell.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Culdee Presbyterian Church choir, 916 Hwy 73, West End, NC 27376.
