Jonathan David Dinwiddie, 43, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. Jonathan worked in apartment maintenance as an HVAC technician. He was well loved by many and treasured the time he spent with his family. He was extremely proud of his two sons and loved them deeply.
Survivors include wife, Yazmin Dinwiddie; two sons, Kevin Dinwiddie (girlfriend, Kaitlyn East) and Michael Dinwiddie; grandmother, Laura Tillett (Jack); parents, Howard and Kay Dinwiddie; sisters, Jennifer Goddard (Michael), Jessica Sweetser (Brad), and Janet Check (Matthew); and niece, Eleanor Check.
He was preceded in death by his two grandfathers, Frank Dinwiddie and Silas Smith; grandmother, Nancy Smith; two aunts, Elizabeth “Betsy” (Dinwiddie) Haugh and Paula (Smith) Apple; and infant cousins, Hollin Nellis and Cadence Nellis.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Salem Funeral Home in Winston-Salem, NC by Pastor David Mros. Visitation will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Dorina Morgan, missionary and family friend in Guatemala, sent in care of Hico Baptist Church, P.O. Box 934, Graham, NC 27253 or via Pay Pal @dorinamorgan.
