Gibsonville – Delmer Franklin Greeson, 79, passed away surrounded by his family and friends, Friday November 19th at his home following a brief illness.
He was born April 18, 1937 in Guilford County to the late Bud and Molly May Greeson. He was married to the late Edna Phillips Greeson.
Delmer owned and operated Greeson Plastics for many years and he was a member of First Baptist Church of Gibsonville. He enjoyed gardening and tinkering on machines from lawn mowers to tractors. His real joy was spending time with his family. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include daughters, Debbie (Barney) Mabe, Lisa (Ricky) Whitesell; grandchildren, Jacob Whitesell, Megan Whitesell; a sister, Essie Ward; a brother, Grady Greeson and his special friend Peggy Greeson. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, a grandson Chris Clapp; brothers, Fred Greeson, Buddy Greeson and James Greeson.
The funeral will be held Twelve noon Monday at First Baptist Church of Gibsonville by Rev. Donnie Phillips. Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends 4-6 PM Sunday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. and at other times at the home.
