Linda Greeson Smith
DECATUR, AL - Linda Greeson Smith, 76, died Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Huntsville Hospital following an extended illness.
Visitation will be Sunday from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. at Ninth Street United Methodist Church followed by a memorial service at the church. A private graveside service for family will be at Roselawn cemetery.
Mrs. Smith was the wife of Edward Leon Smith and they have lived in Decatur over 48 years. She is the daughter of Mabel and Dougan Greeson who preceded her in death.
Linda was a homemaker, enjoyed sewing and loved her family.
In addition to her husband, survivors include two sons, Greg (Debbie) Smith and Brent (Kelly) Smith; grandchildren, Mason Smith, Mitchell Smith, Emily Smith and Bethany Smith, all from Decatur; sister, Donna (PJ) Coble of Burlington, NC.
Her other sister Nancy (Silas) Smith of Whitsett, NC preceded her in death.
The family appreciates the compassion and love from our Father God, family and friends and requests memorials be given to the Neighborhood Christian Center, 619 Bank St. NW, Decatur, AL 35601.
