BURLINGTON — Mrs. Helen Janette Rush Hill , 88, went home to be with the Lord at 12:41 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 23, 2006 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. Formerly residing on Pagetown Road, she lived for the past 27 months at the home of her daughter, Janet, and son-in-law, Ricky, at 3011 Huffines Drive, Burlington.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Joseph Addison Hill ; a son, Marc Herring Hill ; Helen’s parents, Andrew Scott Rush and Cora Kearns Rush ; three brothers; five sisters and one half sister.
Surviving are one son, Joseph Addison Hill Jr. and his wife, Beverly of Dallas, Texas. Also surviving are one daughter, Janet Hill Bailey and her husband, Ricky of Burlington. Helen is also survived by two granddaughters, Kathryn Bailey and Beverly Bailey, both of Burlington and two grandsons, Christopher Hill and Theodore "Teddy" Hill of Dallas, Texas.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2006 at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Burlington. Officiating at the service will be Ken Harman, pastor of Grace Bible Fellowship where Helen was a member. Burial will be at Alamance Memorial Park
The family will receive family and friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 27, 2006 at the Rich & Thompson Mortuary in Burlington and at other times at the home of Helen’s daughter at 3011 Huffines Drive, Burlington.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Bible Fellowship at 2228 Moran Street, Burlington, N.C. 27215.
