OBITUARIES Willie  N. Cook 
    GIBSONVILLE — Willie  N. Cook , 73, of NC 61 North died on Friday, August 5, 2005 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital.
    He was born in Guilford County, son of the late Junnie Floyd Cook  and the late Nettie Whitesell Cook . He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, retired from AT&T, and served on the board of Fire District 28 in Guilford County.
    He is survived by his daughter, Angela "Angie" Cook  of Greensboro; son, Allan Cook  of Asheboro; and five brothers, Herbert Cook  of Gibsonville, Loyd Cook  of Reidsville, Fred Cook  of Climax, James Cook  of Gibsonville and Ervin Cook  of Sandy Ridge.
    The funeral will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday at Apple’s Chapel Christian Church by Rev. C. Allen Myers III and Rev. Jess Montegudo. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Monday at Apple’s Chapel Christian Church.
    Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Cook  family.
    In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Apple’s Chapel Christian Church, Building Fund or Missions Fund, 7345 N. NC 61, Gibsonville, NC 27249 or to Fire District 28, 6619 NC 61 North, Gibsonville, NC 27249 or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
