Louise Cook Isley
BURLINGTON — Mrs. Louise Cook Isley , 90, of 1437 Watkins Road, Burlington, died at the Hospice Home on Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at 1:25 a.m. following two weeks critical illness.
A native of Guilford County, she was the wife of the late Branch Alexander Isley , and the daughter of Lawrence Lee Cooke and Dolly Russell Cooke , both deceased. She was a member of Bellemont United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Ms. Martha I. Johnson of Graham; a son, Mr. Donald A. Isley of the home; four sisters, Mrs. Nellie C. Massey of Burlington, Mrs. Peggy C. Cauthren of Greensboro, Mrs. Mary Lois Brown of Graham, and Mrs. Patty C. Parrish of Graham; two brothers, Mr. Hurley F. Cooke and Mr. R. Lynn Cooke of Burlington; and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham today, December 16, 2005 at 2 p.m. by Dr. Holt Clarke. Burial will follow the service in Bellemont United Methodist Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home in Graham today from 1 to 2 p.m., and at other times they will be at the residence of a sister, Mrs. Nellie Massey, 3743C Bellemont-Mt. Hermon Church Road, Burlington, N.C.
