Obituary Online notes for Alma Virginia McCOLLUM
PORTLAND - Alma McCollum Dexheimer, 82, of Portland, Ore. died Thursday, March 23, 1995.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Pioneer United Methodist Church in Portland.

She is survived by her son, Charles; one granddaughter; sisters, Mabel Lethco and Mary Dexheimer, both of Greensboro; brothers, James McCollum of Kernersville and L.D. McCollum of Elon College.

Mrs. Dexheimer was formerly employed by the Greensboro Daily News and the Oregon News of Portland. She was also the librarian of the Portland University Library.

ALMA V. DEXHEIMER
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 28, 1995, in Pioneer United Methodist Church, where she was a member.

Mrs. Dexheimer died of cancer March 22 at age 82. She was born May 7, 1912, in Gibsonville, N.C. Her maiden name was McCollum.

She worked as a secretary for media relations until her retirement in 1967. She worked for the Oregon Journal, the Portland Reporter and the University of Portland library.

She married Aubrey Dexheimer in 1952; he died in 1985.

Survivors include her son, Charles of Portland; sisters, Mary Dexheimer and Mable Lethco, both of Greensboro, N.C.; brothers, Luther McCollum of Elon College, S.C., and James McCollum of Kernersville, N.C.; and one grandchild.

Interment in Skyline Memorial Gardens.
