LANCASTER, S.C. -- Mrs. Mary McCollum Dexheimer, 86, of 2236 White Pine Court, Lancaster, S.C. died Friday Jan. 20, 2006 at Springs Memorial Hospital.
A graveside service will be held Monday, Jan. 23, 2006 at 3 p.m. at Lakeview Memorial Park Cemetery in Greensboro.
Mrs. Dexheimer was born in Guilford County on March 17,1919 to the late Luther Dwayne and Icabell Michael McCollum. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church here in Greensboro. She also attended Grace United Methodist Church in Lancaster, S.C.
Mary is survived by her son and daughter-in-law William Lewis and Peggy Dexheimer of San Antonio, Texas; and daughter and son-in-law Edna Paisley and David Blake of Lancaster, S.C.; one brother Luther Dwayne McCollum of Elon; five grandchildren, Daniel Christopher, Michael Blake, Noelle Cooper and Leigh Anne Roeber; five great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Dexheimer and four brothers and three sisters.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:30 p.m. on Monday Jan. 23, 2006 at Forbis & Dick North Elm Street Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace United Methodist Church, Bus Fund, 2217 Airport Rd. Lancaster ,SC 29720. 54
