SWANNIE MICHAEL DOGGETT

Mrs. Swannie Michael Doggett, 77, formerly of Rankin Mill Road, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001, at the Wesley Long Nursing Center.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2001, at Hines Chapel Church, of which she was a member.

Pastor Milton Wilder and Pastor Craig Peak will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park.

Swannie was born Oct. 22, 1924, and was the daughter of the late Eller and Nannie Michael.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Doggett and sister-in-law, Fay Michael.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Larry Payne of Greensboro; two brothers, Robert Michael of Greensboro and Clayton Michael and wife, Elma of Greensboro; and two grandchildren, Phillip and Angela Payne.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 2001, at Forbis & Dick Funeral Service, North Elm Street, and at other times, at the home of her daughter, Pat Payne, 3661 Link Road, Greensboro, N.C. 27405.
