    BURLINGTON — Ira Andrew “Andy” Wrenn, of 1528 Idlewild Ave. in Burlington, went to be with his Heavenly Father on May 27, 2011 at 6:34 p.m. A native of Alamance County, Andy was born June 24th 1967. He was the husband of Angie Stanley Wrenn, and the son of Thomas Clelon Wrenn, Sr. and Joan Lewis Wrenn. He is survived by his daughter, Trisha Ann Wrenn; two sons, Matthew Andrew Wrenn and Caleb Thomas Wrenn; and his mother-inlaw Teresa H. Stanley; all of the home.
    He is also survived by his two brothers, Thomas Clelon “Bud” Wrenn, Sr. (wife Tammy), Christopher Lewis “Lew” Wrenn (wife Tarina); and his sister, Maryjo Wrenn Pollard (husband David); father-inlaw, Ralph V. Stanley; sisterin-law, Melissa Greeson (husband Chris); brother-in-law, Mark Stanley (wife Sunshine); and many loving nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Andy’s joy was in his family, he was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and nephew.
    Andy was a friend to many and a foe to none. He was a kind-hearted and caring man whose good deeds were well known. Andy was a lifelong member of Long’s Chapel Christian Church, where he served on the Board of Trustees, and he was the owner and proprietor of A&W Plumbing and Air Conditioning.
    He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Melvin H. Wrenn and Faye M. Wrenn; step grandmother, Virginia B. Wrenn; and his maternal grandparents, Dace A. Lewis, Sr. and Hazel H. Lewis. The family wishes to thank Hospice of Alamance and Caswell, especially Ellen, Wanda, Mark, Bonnie, Kathy, and Dale. Donations may be made to Hospice of Alamance and Caswell at 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215. A Special Thanks to Dr. John Guyton of Duke Medical Center and Doris Buffet and the Sunshine Ladies for their love and support during this difficult time.
    The funeral will be at Long’s Chapel Christian Church Tuesday at 4pm with the Rev. Dr. James Baughn officiating and burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday, May 30th from 6-8 p.m., and at other times at the residence.
