ELON - Mr. Jeffrey Scott Hunt, 42, of 720 Wagoner Road, Elon, died at his residence on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at 6:45 p.m. following eight months of declining health.
A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Leigh "Nikki" Satterfield Hunt and the son of Larry W. Hunt and Sharon Martin Hunt, all of whom survive. He was a member of Faithwalk United Methodist Church, an avid sportsman who loved to play golf, and was a supporter of the UNC Tarheels.
In addition to his wife of the home and parents of Whitsett, survivors include three daughters, Jordan Grae Hunt of Charlotte, Hayley Alexandria Hunt of Burlington and Rainey Nicole Hunt of the home; one son, Asher Dean Hunt of the home; a brother, David Michael Hunt and wife Stephanie of Gibsonville; a grandmother, Mildred L. Hunt of Elon; his lifelong friends and brothers in Christ, Stevie Wall and Barry Johnson.
A memorial service will be conducted at Faithwalk United Methodist Church, off U.S. 70, at 485 Brightwood Church Road, Gibsonville, N.C., on Friday, November 26, 2010 at 7 p.m. by Mr. Barry Johnson.
At other times the family will be at the residence.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice League of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, N.C. 27215.
