Obituary Online notes for Maizie Regent SUMMERS
Mrs. Maizie Summers Richert rose into the arms of her Savior on April 22, 2017, at Beacon Place. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Charles Richert, granddaughter Jennifer R. Coleman, brothers, Freeman Summers and Clyde Summers; sisters Pat King and Betty Davis.
Mrs. Richert is survived by her daughters, Debra L. Richert of the home, Pamela Richert Robertson (Glen) of Greensboro, Judith Richert Hahn (Jim Dellinger) of Port St. Lucie, FL and Annette Richert Steed (Tom) of The Villages, FL. Mrs. Richert is also survived by her siblings: Larry Summers of California, Brenda Henderson of Greensboro, Iris Summers of Arizona and Bobby Summers (Doris) of Greensboro. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Eileen Richert Jordan of Greensboro. Other survivors include 3 grandsons, 2 great grandsons, 1 granddaughter and 1 great granddaughter. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Richert was a member of Rankin Baptist Church and a member of the Elizabeth Sunday School class.
Visitation will be at Forbis and Dick Funeral Home, 1118 N. Elm Street, Greensboro, NC on Friday night, April 28, 2017, from 6 to 8 pm and other times at the home. The funeral will be held on Saturday afternoon April 29, 2017 at Rankin Baptist Church, 3317 Summit Avenue, Greensboro, NC at 2 pm. Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery, Highway 29 North following the service.
