GREENSBORO -- Mrs. Mary Alyce "Stoni" Strickland Johnson, 86, of 33-D Fountain Manor Drive, died Wednesday July 20, 2005, at Wesley Long Nursing Center.
Mrs. Johnson's funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday in Christ Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dwight Shellaway and the Rev. Dan Koenig officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Stoni Johnson was born in Nash County on July 14, 1919, to the late George and Martha Gerringher Strickland. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and a retired business owner.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by her two daughters, Sine Anahita of Fairbanks, Alaska and Kristine Johnson of the home; and close family friend, Pam Watkins.
