GRAHAM — Mrs. Rebecca Roberson "Becky" Bowman , 61, of 1739 S. Main St., died at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2004, at her residence after nine months of declining health and two weeks critical.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of Mr. Jerry H. Bowman , who survives, and the daughter of the late Norman L. Roberson and Ruby Gerringer Roberson . She was a homemaker and a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of the Board of Directors of the Burlington Women’s Bowling Association.
Survivors other than her husband of the home include two daughters, Mrs. Tracy Bowman Carden and husband, Don, and Mrs. Toni Bowman Caison and husband, Jeff, all of Graham; a sister, Mrs. Judy James and husband, Frank, of Burlington; and five grandchildren, Josh Carden, Simone Carden, Seth Caison, Drew Caison, and Barrett Caison.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 8, 2004, at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham by the Rev. Norman M. Whitney Sr. Burial will be in Graham Memorial Park.
The family will be at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home in Graham from 6 to 8 this evening, and at other times at the residence.
Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, N.C. 27215.
