Frances Boone Bagby

Longtime Realtor

Frances Boone Bagby, who had been active in the real estate business and in many organizations, died after a stroke Wednesday at Broadmead, the Cockeysville retirement community.

Mrs. Bagby, who was 87, retired about a decade ago after many years with Russell T. Baker & Co., during 1975 PHOTOwhich she became a life member of the Realtors' Million Dollar Club.

She was born Frances Boone in Greensboro, N.C., and educated there. She was proud of being a descendant of Daniel Boone.

She was a former president of the Little Garden Club, and had been a member of the Baltimore Country Club, the Cosmopolitans, the Maryland Historical Society, the Baltimore Museum of Art, the PEO Sisterhood, the English Speaking Union, the Woman's Club of Roland Park and the Center Club.

Services were scheduled for 11 a.m. today at the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, 5603 N. Charles St.

Her first husband, Edwin R. Harrall, died in 1978, and her second husband, William Hugh Bagby Sr., died in 1988.

She is survived by two stepsons, Richard F. Harrall of Virginia Beach, Va., and William Hugh Bagby Jr. of Stevenson; a brother, James B. Boone of Richmond, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Earl Bright of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Mrs. M. R . Greeson of Charlotte, N.C.; two grandsons; five step-grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
