Mr. Michael L. Cable

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. — Mr. Michael L. Cable, 55, of 4377 Northwest 62nd Ave., died at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2001, at Hospice by the Sea in Boca Raton, Fla.

A native of Elon College, he was the husband of Mrs. Dorothy Jo Cable, who survives, and the son of Mr. John Cable and Mrs. Mary Edith Isley Cable, both deceased.

He was the founder of Wet Set Pools and Spas.

Survivors other than his wife of the home include a son, Mr. Michael Todd Cable of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Bonnie Thornber of Popano Beach, Fla.; a stepson, Mr. Ronnie Martin of Gainesville, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Pat Hall of Elon College and Mrs. Nancy Chrisco of Burlington; and two grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday by the Rev. Don Pegg, pastor, Kinnett Memorial Baptist Church, at Shallow Ford United Church of Christ. The body will be at the church one hour before the service. Burial will be in the church cemetery. McClure Funeral Home in Burlington is in charge of local arrangements.
