Mrs. Erma Dell Lindsay Faucette
BURLINGTON — Mrs. Erma Dell Lindsay Faucette, 87, of 837 N. Anthony St., died at 10:25 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2001, at the Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center of Alamance after a critical illness of one week.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late J. Harold Faucette, and the daughter of David M. Lindsay and Margaret Nance Lindsay, both deceased.
She was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Nan Farlow of Norfolk, Va. and Mrs. Delsie Heath of Hampton, Va.; two brothers, Mr. W. D. Lindsay and Mr. Carl H. “Buddy” Lindsay, both of Burlington.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Zadie L. Matthews and Emma L. Moore; and a brother, George B. Lindsay.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington by the Rev. Jim Hobbs.
Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
The family will be at Rich & Thompson Mortuary in Burlington from 6 to 8 this evening, and at other times at the home.
