Mrs. Virginia Troxler Creasy
BURLINGTON — Mrs. Virginia Troxler Creasy, 88, of Twin Lakes Center, died at 6:45 a.m. Monday, Jan. 29, 2001, at the center in Burlington. She was formerly of N.C. 100, Gibsonville. A native of Guilford County, she was the wife of the late Mr. Eldridge Gale “E.G.” Creasy and the daughter of Mr. William Henry Troxler and Mrs. Sallie Roney Troxler, both deceased. She was retired from Textile Sales Room and was a member of Frieden’s Lutheran Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Sally Creasy Bridges of Marietta, Ga.; two sons, Mr. John R. Creasy of Gibsonville and Mr. William K. Creasy of Santa Fe, Texas; a brother, Mr. Ben Troxler of Gibsonville; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Mr. George Troxler, Mr. John Troxler and Mr. Walt Troxler. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Frieden’s Lutheran Church by the Rev. Richard A. Rhoades. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will be in the church fellowship hall after the service and at other times at the home of a son, Mr. John Creasy, 7171 Cone Club Road, Gibsonville. Memorials may be made to the Virginia Creasy Memorial Fund, c/o Frieden’s Lutheran Church, 6001 N.C. 61 North, Gibsonville, N.C. 27249.
