Adell Sharon Troxler, 85, of 8022 Old Reidsville Rd., Brown Summit, NC, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2009 at the Hospice Home of Rockingham County.
Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday October 31, 2009 in Friendship United Methodist Church Cemetery.
A native of Rockingham County, she was the daughter of the late Aaron L. and Mattie Young Sharon and had lived most of her life in Brown Summit, NC. A graduate of
St. Leo's Hospital Nursing School, she retired from Annie Penn Hospital as a Registered Nurse. An avid gardener, she was a considerate member of the community, and will be remembered as a loving mother, and grandmother.
A lifelong member of Friendship United Methodist Church, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Reid Troxler and a brother, Thomas Sherron.
Surviving are son, Ken Troxler and wife, Renee,of Brown Summit, NC; daughter, Jane T. Brunt and husband, Stanley, Wilmington, NC; grandchildren, Carrie Whiteside and husband, Joel, Emily Tomlinson and husband, Jeremy, Amanda Troxler, Michael Troxler; sister-in-laws, Becky Troxler, of Brown Summit, NC, Rachel Troxler, of Brown Summit, NC,
Ann Medearis and husband, Clyde, of Charlotte, N.C.; and
brother-in-law, Barron Troxler and wife, Kathleen, of Brown Summit, NC. 470, Adell Sharon Troxler
