Cora Beth Wrenn

January 17, 1929 ~ February 5, 2022 (age 93)

Mrs. Cora Elizabeth Gerringer Wrenn, 93, of Elon, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 5, 2022 surrounded by her family.

Cora was born January 17, 1929 in Alamance County to the late Walter George Gerringer and Lillian Montgomery Gerringer. 

A woman of deep faith, she was a founding member of Riverside Holiness Church and shared her love of the Lord through her teachings there.  She adored her family and made each one of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren feel loved and special.  She will be deeply missed by those whose life she touched.

In addition to her parents, Cora was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Waybon Wrenn; daughter, Tammy Lynn Roberts; brothers, George Gerringer, Counsel Gerringer, and infant brother, W.E. Gerringer; and infant sister, Margaret Gerringer.

Cora is survived by her daughters, Margaret DePeyster, Donna King, and Gloria Matkins and husband Dennis, all of Burlington; 13 grandchildren; 22 great- grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
