    WHITSETT — Mrs. Nannie E. Boone, 87, of 2610 Mt. Hope Church Road, died at the Hospice Home in Burlington on Friday, Feb. 5, 2010.
    A native of Caswell County, she was the wife of the late Luther Allen Boone and the daughter of William Franklin Brannock and Elizabeth Enoch Brannock, both deceased. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
    Survivors include her son, William Allen Boone and wife Sandra, of Easley, S.C.; her daughter, Nancy B. Young and husband Charles, of Clemmons; two grandchildren, Stephanie and Chuck; four great-grandchildren; and a nephew, James “Allen” Brannock and wife Vivian, and their children, Heather, Jamie and Whitney of the home.
    She was predeceased by her brother, William Henry Brannock.
    Burial will be held in the National Cemetery in Salisbury at a later date. Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington is in charge of arrangements.
