Sylvia  Lynn "Sib" Farrell

GRAHAM — Miss Sylvia  Lynn "Sib" Farrell , 49, of 1819 Alco St., Graham, died at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center on Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2006, following one year of declining health and a critical illness of one week. A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of Sue K. Farrell , who survives and the late Truman Tremont Farrell . She was a member of the former Christ Methodist Church of Graham.
Sylvia  lived a life full of music, pets and her family. She always had something good to say about everyone and made us all laugh with her funny jokes and sense of humor. She was loving and kind and put everyone else first in her life. She was totally devoted to her mother. Her bright, dimpled smile will be greatly missed by all. We take peace in the fact that she now resides in a heavenly mansion with her dad and other loving relatives.
In addition to the mother of the home, survivors include two sisters, Sheila Farrell  Bullington and husband, E.S. of Thomasville, Ga., and Sharon "Shae" Farrell  and Ron Davison of Winston-Salem; one brother, Greg Farrell  and wife, Holly, of Lexington; one niece, Melissa Thomas and husband Pete, of Thomasville, Ga.; two nephews, Bradley Farrell  and Joseph Farrell , both of Lexington; a special friend, Mike Snyder of Graham; and one uncle, several aunts, cousins and pets.
The funeral will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham on Sunday, Nov. 26, 2006, at 2 p.m. by the Rev. William Wolfe, assisted by Mark Stevens of Lexington. Burial will follow in Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home in Graham today from 6 to 8 p.m.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at The Charles Drew Center, Alamance Regional Medical Center, Archbold Hospital in Thomasville, Ga., UNC Hospitals and Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.
