Charles (Charlie) Edwin Hurley, 51, a long time resident of Bay County and native of Alamance County, NC was found dead on May 7, 2012 while visiting Martinez, CA.
Charlie, a widower was married to the late Mary Barnett. Charlie was the son of Jay E. Hurley and the late Faye Paschal Radzwilka and step mother Donna Hurley of Arnold, MD. Charlie earned money by doing odd landscaping jobs for those in the his community. He also liked to work on small engines and his new hobby was wood working and building small items.
Surviving in addition to his father and step mother are: a sister, Debbie Donahew, of Las Vegas, NV, sister Melanie Doucet, of Cumming, GA, sister Caitlin Hurley of Arnold, MD and brother Patrick Hurley of Sacramento, CA.
A small service will be held at 2 p.m. June 2, 2012 at Alamance Memorial Park, Burlington, NC this will be his final resting place next to his mother.
