STONEY CREEK – Becky Leigh passed away on Sunday, September 13 at her home in Stoney Creek, NC. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Franklin Wyrick and Hazel Williams Wyrick.
She is survived by her husband of forty seven years, Jesse C. “Dusty” Leigh, and brother, David Wyrick. Also by her niece Courtney Shore, her cousin Anita Jones and other cousins and nephews and nieces.
Becky graduated from Bessemer High School and began working at the Bank of Greensboro, where she met her husband. They were married in Fairbanks, Alaska, where her husband was serving in the army.
She spent her life helping others. She loved working and loved her family.
The family will receive friends from 11 to 12 PM prior to the funeral service on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 and the service will be at 12 noon at Forbis and Dick North Elm Street Chapel.
The interment will be at Guilford Memorial Park.
