Garland Ray Bradshaw
 
HAW RIVER — Mr. Garland Ray Bradshaw, 75, of 3405 Grant Road, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015, at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
 
 A native of Alamance County, NC, he was the son of the late Walsey and Mable Goldston Bradshaw.
 
 He was a member of Cornerstone Community Church where he loved the Lord and his church family. He was retired from Cortina Fabrics with 30 plus years of service to the textile industry. He was an avid fisherman where he won numerous fishing tournaments and bragging rights with his friends. He had a love for Carolina Tar Heels basketball and football and his grandchildren, Destiny Coble and Jace Reagan, and great-grandson, Beau Bryant, for always looking after him and always being his rock.
 
 Garland was known for his kind heart. He always went around hugging people whether he knew them or not just so someone might have a brighter day or put a smile on their face. Most of all he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all.
 
 Survivors are daughter, Tonya Bradshaw, of the home; sons, Keith Bradshaw and wife Sherry of Gibsonville, Bryan Bradshaw of Greensboro; stepson, Odell Coley of Statesville; sisters, Sue Copeland and husband William of Eli Whitney and Alice Simpson of Burlington; brothers, John Bradshaw and wife Peggy and Bill Bradshaw and wife Eve, all of Eli Whitney, Richard Bradshaw of Mebane and Claude Bradshaw and wife Lutisha, of Julian; 12 grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren.
 
 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Victoria Marie Hamlett Bradshaw; sister, Mary Teer Willis, and granddaughter, Macey Hope Allison.
 
 A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015, at the Cornerstone Community Church with the Rev. Stephen Hall and the Rev. Rodney Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Concord UMC Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
 
 In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cornerstone Community Church, 6324 South NC 87, Graham, NC 27253.
