James W. “Jimmy” Fogleman, Jr., 59, of 228 Bible Wesleyan Lane, Graham, NC died at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at 9:40 p.m. following one week of critical illness. A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late James Willard Fogleman, Sr. and Jeannine Jackson Fogleman, who survives. He was the owner of James W. Fogleman, Jr. Trucking Company and a member of the First Baptist Church of Graham. In addition to his mother of Graham, survivors include his companion, Sandra Gay Ostrom of the home; two daughters, Amanda Fogleman Mann and husband Thomas “Jaybird†Mann of Graham and Kristy Fogleman-Whitesell and husband Jeramie of Graham; one sister, Sherri Williams Kolivoski and husband Steve of Burlington; two special sons, Christopher Ostrom and wife Jennifer of Ft. Sill, OK and Curtis Ostrom of Raleigh; two grandchildren, Aleighsa “Ali†Elliott and Ethan “Reno†Ostrom; and two nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Lori Ann Fogleman. The funeral service will be conducted at the First Baptist Church of Graham on Sunday, January 9, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. Jim Wall and Rev. Brian Covert. Burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The body will be taken to the church 30 minutes prior to the service to lie in state. The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham on Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. Other times they will be at the residence of Amanda Mann, 228 Bible Wesleyan Lane, Graham, NC.
