Nellie Irene Garrison Kraemer, 99, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Moses Cone Hospital.
She was born on May 5, 1923 in Alamance County to the late Lacy Lee Garrison and Bertha Saunders Garrison, and was the wife to the late Palmer Charles “Chuck” Kraemer.
Nellie was a homemaker and a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her son, Chris Kraemer and wife Regina; granddaughter, Jessica Khalil and husband Sharif; sisters, Ruth Oakley and Jean Weathers; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and siblings, Mozelle Beckom, Odell, Aubrey, Raymond and Vernon Garrison.
The family would like to express their gratitude for all the loving care and compassion shown to Nellie in recent years by family and friends.
The graveside service will be held 11:00am Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Alamance Memorial Park by Rev. Darrell Massey.
