MARY Shepherd HANFORD
GRAHAM - Mrs. Mary Horry Shepherd Hanford, 65, of 1112 Jeffries Street died at 7:36 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, 1993, at Alamance County Hospital after one month of failing health.
A native of Guilford County, she was the daughter of the late George William Shepherd Sr. and Mrs. Ada Michael Shepherd who survives.
She was a retired kindergarten teacher with Andrews Memorial Readiness School and a member of Andrews Memorial Baptist Church.
Surviving are husband, Thomas G. Hanford; daughter, Mrs. Phyllis Linens of Graham; son, Thomas Michael Hanford of Burlington; mother, Mrs. Ada Michael Shepherd of Graham; sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Shepherd Sizemore, Mrs. Betty Shepherd Futrell, both of Graham; sons, George William Shepherd Jr. of New Orleans, La., Clarence Robert Shepherd of Burlington.
The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Graham 7-9 tonight, other times at the home. 470, Mary Horry Shepherd Hanford
