KERNERSVILLE - Fred Coleman Routh, 76, died Saturday, Dec. 21, 2002.

Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory in Kernersville.

He was a native of Franklinville and a World War II U.S. Army veteran, where he was awarded a Victory Medal and a Purple Heart. He was the owner of Routh Tile Co. and worked in ceramic tile installation.

Surviving are wife, Mattie Lee Routh; daughter, Kay Moore of Winston-Salem; sons, David Routh and Donald Routh, both of Kernersville, Roger Routh of Mt. Airy; sisters, Chloe Gregson of Pleasant Garden, Peggy Russell of Randleman, Joyce Fagg of Franklinville; brothers, Carl Routh of Climax, Charles Routh of Pleasant Garden; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

Pierce Funeral Home, Kernersville, is in charge of arrangements.
