Obituary Online notes for George Landis ROBERSON
George Landis Roberson
February 10, 1948 — February 25, 2026
Graham

George Landis Roberson, born on February 10, 1948, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2026, in Graham, NC, surrounded by the love of his family. George's legacy is one of kindness, love, and a passion for the simple pleasures in life. He is remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father, a cherished grandfather, and a dear brother.
George spent 24 wonderful years married to his beloved wife, Wanda Kernodle Roberson. Together, they created a life full of joy and cherished memories. He was a proud father to his son, Gary Roberson, and his daughter, Lisa Grindall. His joy multiplied with the arrival of his many loving grandchildren, whose lives he enriched with wisdom and boundless affection. George's sisters, Sherry Snipes and Cindy Roberson, will remember their brother for his warmth, his laughter, and his unwavering support. While George was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Gertrude Roberson, and his brother, Bobby Roberson, his spirit remains a guiding light for all who knew him. George's professional life was marked by his dedication and hard work at General Electric, from which he retired after many years of service. He carried the same level of commitment into his involvement with various associations, always ready to lend a hand or share his knowledge. Beyond his professional achievements, George was an avid fisherman. In retirement, he could be found on the lake every weekend, his patience and calm demeanor perfectly suited to the sport he so loved. His interest in camping led him to many tranquil days and nights at Hyco Lake, and his love for adventure often drew him to the mountains for trips that brought him great joy. Family cookouts will not be the same without George's presence. His love for family gatherings and the happiness he found in being with his loved ones will be deeply missed. His laughter, his stories, and the warmth of his company illuminated every get-together, leaving us with memories to treasure forever. There will be no services held at this time. McClure Funeral Service in Graham is assisting the family.
