Obituary Online notes for Ruby May PERRYMAN
Ruby May Lunsford, daughter of Ellis Daniel and Ethel Adella Hudson Perryman, was born Jun 16, 1933, near Niangua, MO.

She departed this life Nov 19, 1991, in St. John's Regional Health Center in Springfield, MO, at the age of 58 years, 5 months and 3 days.

On Jun 1, 1953, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Jinks and to this union two daughters and one son were born.

Kenneth preceded her in death on Nov 30, 1985, and she was also preceded in death by her parents.

On Apr 18, 1990, she was united in marriage to William Darris Lunsford.

Ruby is survived by her husband Darris of the home; 1 son Ricky Jinks of the home; 2 daughters Joyce Couser of Kansas City, MO, and Rita Moore of Grovespring, MO; 5 brothers Virgil, Ervin, Richard and Lorraine Perryman, all of Springfield, MO, and James Perryman of Lebanon, MO; 4 sisters Norma Thompson of Kimberling City, MO, and Bonnie Price, Donna Davenport and Irene Meyers, all of Springfield, MO; 8 grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

She was born and raised in Wright County and lived there throughout most of her life. For a number of years she worked for the H. D. Lee Company in Lebanon and was a devoted homemaker and mother. Ruby professed her faith in Christ at an early age and was a long time member of the Little Vine Freewill Baptist Church. She was always faithful to attend services whenever the doors of the church were open. She enjoyed going to the local cafe to have coffee and visit with friends and also liked to attend Senior Citizens. Quilting and sewing were two of her favorite pastimes. Ruby will be fondly remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and a caring friend. A precious one from us is gone. A voice we loved is still. A place is vacant in her home that never can be filled. Her life's trials are all over. The victory has been won. Though it is so hard to say farewell, God's will be done.
