Patsy Louise Perryman, 52, of Simpson Lane, Faber, died suddenly Thursday afternoon at the UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville.

Born June 23, 1946 in Charlottesville, she was a daughter of the late Kermit Wilson Mawyer Sr. and Samanthia Stilton Mawyer.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell "Jim" Perryman on May 11, 1995.

She was a retired employee of Pizza Hut in Charlottesville and a member of Rockspring United Methodist Church in Faber.

Patsy is survived by her children, Larry Perryman of Shipman, Jimmy Perryman and Shelia Frye both of Charlottesville and Rhonda Perryman of Loomis, Calif.; four sisters, Lillian Matheny and Suzanne Powell both of Afton, Carolyn Ragland of Shipman and Pamela Freund of Fredirick, Md.; seven brothers, Kermit Mawyer Jr. of Esmont, John and Russell Mawyer of Keene, George Mawyer of Barboursville, Aller Mawyer of Afton and David and Eddie Mawyer both of Charlottesville; six grandchildren, Amanda, Larry Jr., Darrell, Brandon, Patrick and Bryan and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Wells/Sheffield Funeral Chapel in Lovingston with the Rev. John Chaffee officiating with interment in the Hebron Cemetery in Afton.

The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home  470, Patsy Louise Mawyer Perryman
