"Funeral services were conducted at the Pettijohn & Eiser Chapel Friday afternoon for Phillip Ivan Fike, 64, who died Jan. 31 at a St. Joseph nursing home after a long illness. The Rev. Hugo Rolens officiated at the rites, and burial was in the Oregon cemetery.
A native of Forest City, Mr. Fike was a retired truck driver. He attended the Bluff City school and was a member of the Bluff City Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Delores Fike, of St. Joseph; one son, Eugene Fike, Sugar Lake, and one brother, Albert Fike, Boulder, Colo."
