Margie Ashley Hensley, 79, of 1212 Ridgecrest Avenue, Burlington died at her residence on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 6:15 p.m.
A native of Person County, she was the wife of Keith "Pete" Hensley, who survives and the daughter of George Garland Ashley and Edith Ora Duncan Ashley, both deceased. She was a former secretary at Duke Power and the Burlington Chamber of Commerce. Margie was a member of Front Street United Methodist Church and the Dogwood Garden Club.
In addition to her husband of the home, survivors include her daughter, Ann Hensley Day of Goldsboro; two sons, David Ashley Hensley of Charlotte and Rev. Darren Keith Hensley and wife Robin of Tucker, GA; two grandchildren; and one sister, Era Mae Ashley of Greensboro.
