Shirley Leouise (Fers) Turner passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, surrounded by loved ones, from complications of Alzheimer's disease.
She was born September 19, 1935 in Conway, Missouri, to Charles Ephraim and Hilda Blanche Fers.
Upon graduating from Niangua High School in 1953, she moved to Springfield and worked for Sears Roebuck & Co, where she met her future husband, John Wesley Turner. They were married on May 13, 1956.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and one great-grandchild, William Wesley Turner, II, brothers-in-law, Bobby Cantrell and Al Lovell.
She is survived by her husband, John; son John Jr and his wife, Shiela; daughter Bonnie Murdock and her husband, Kevin; grandchildren Rachel Marino (Greg), Tanya Massouh (Paul), John Turner, III (Angela), Bradley Murdock (Carly), Matthew Murdock, and seven great-grandchildren, she is also survived by three sisters and one brother, Becky Cantrell, Oleta Brown and husband Tom, Ida Lovell and John Fers and wife Joyce.
Burial at Danforth Cemetery.
