James Lowell "Cap" Keesling, 90, Marshfield, passed away at 5:48 p.m. Monday, September 3, 2012 in Cox South Medical Center, Springfield.
James was a dairy farmer and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Marshfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Rose; and two daughters, Diane Petty and Kristy Rader.
Survivors include his sons-in-law, Joe Petty, Niangua and Marty Rader, Marshfield; three grandsons, Jamie Petty and his girlfriend, Maxine Jeter, Niangua, Tim Petty and his wife, Trish, Niangua and Sam Petty, Marshfield; three great grandchildren, Alyson Rose Petty, Gabriella Elaine Petty and Bryson Dean Petty; two nieces, Linda Burmeister and her husband, Mike, St. Louis, and Peggy Rader and her husband, Lewis, Rader, MO; a brother, Albert Keesling; and a sister, Olive Carnahan.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 7, 2012 in the Fraker Funeral Home, Marshfield. Burial, with military honors, will be in the Marshfield Cemetery.
