Oran Calvin Mace, son of William and Elizabeth (Nease) Mace, was born January 7, 1910, in Niangua, Mo., and departed this life on May 29, 2006, in his home in Niangua, Mo.
At the time of his passing he was 96 years, four months and 22 days of age.
Oran was a farmer for many years and was a member of the Eureka Methodist Church. On October 5, 1953, Oran was united in marriage to Olive Mackie and to this union one child was born.
Preceding him in death were his parents and two sisters, Lola Mace and Ola Mace.
Survivors include his wife, Olive, of the home; and one son, Dennis Mace, Niangua, Mo.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 1, 2006, in Eureka Methodist Church, Rader, Mo., with Rev. Terry Martin officiating.
Burial will be in the Eureka Cemetery, Rader, Mo., under the direction of Day Funeral Home, Marshfield, Mo.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. tonight in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Eureka Church or the Eureka Cemetery Fund. 470, Oran Calvin Mace
