Obituary Online notes for Jack M. SCHOOLFIELD
Jack M. Schoolfield, 89, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2017, surrounded by his family at his home. 

Jack was born on March 10, 1928, in Guilford County, the son of Edd and Lola Pike Schoolfield. 

He served his country during WW II in the US Navy. Following his military service, he went to work with Duke Energy and worked until his retirement. Jack was a member of the Revolution Masonic Lodge and the Oasis Shrine. He also was a member at Shannon Hills Bible Chapel. Jack was an avid golfer. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He will be deeply missed. 

Jack was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Louise Michael Schoolfield in 1998. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Sue J. Schoolfield of the home; children, David Schoolfield, Ron Schoolfield, both of Greensboro and daughter, Debbie Williamson of Randleman, NC; stepdaughters; Debra Blackman (Dan) of Greensboro, Sharon Parsons (Dean) od Denton, NC, Faye Greene of Wake Forest, NC; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. 

Services to celebrate his life will be held on Monday, 11:00 a.m. at Shannon Hills Bible Chapel with Pastor Mark Shelley officiating, Burial to follow with military and Masonic rites at Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel. 

The family would like to thanks the Hospice staff for the loving care given to Jack. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Ave., Greensboro, NC 27405 or Mountain Top Youth Camp, 1460 MacKay Lane, Pinnacle, NC 27043.
